This would probably be my first choice: http://www.cyberhymnal.org/htm/c/o/comethou.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;,
but I would want it sung by either Lisa Hannigan or Alison Krause.
People put too much emphasis on ole’ Charlie Darwin’s theory about the survival of the fittest. It has produced a cottage industry of shake-weights, special-muscle-morphing powder drinks, and girly men that sell exercise videos. Not me.

I love how I can read through this thread and spot my fellow John Ringo fans.

No love for the '300' soundtrack?

I second Winterborn. Or one of these

Going out in a blaze of glory: Wagner's 'Ride of the Valkyries' or the 4th Movement from Beethoven's 9th symphony or maybe 'The Battle Hymn of the Republic'; afterwards, Dylan's original 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door' or maybe the Youngblood's 'Darkness, Darkness'...

Oddly enough ive thought of this before but it is a very comforting song.
As a back up i would want "home sweet home" by motley crew playing

I do like that version too, but for the "Final scene" as it would be, I would prefer the gary jules version. It seems more "Poetic"

I would choose either:

Under and over it by Five Finger Death Punch

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLk75fFXqH4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

or

Holy Diver by Killswitch Engage

Both songs get me amped up....Maybe this will allow me to survive....or me singing as loud as I can really out of tune will frighten all the zombies

Fighting my ass off any of these choices will do:
"Hate me now"- NAS
"I am the law"-Anthrax
"Punishment"-Biohazard

If I'm going out peacefully, "Soldiers song(Irish national anthem)" That song still gives me chills.

I must be in a wierd mood today- not MY choice, but I'd have a hard time staying focussed if anyone popped up with this one in the middle of a fight to the death:

So there really can only be one choice...

...it's the most done to death motherfucking combat footage backing track on the 'net

Charm City Devils' rendition of "Man of Constant Sorrow"

It's an awesome version and a good song to go out to.
