I would also go second rifle instead of shotgun.

What I have
M4agery with ACOG
Glock 19
Springfield 1903

Dream Setup
High end 4magery from Daniels Defense or LaRue or Noveski
Glock 19 with a bit of cool stuff done to it
Knight Armarment M110 SASS
Take care of eachother

As this is pure fantasy, I would want:

Swap shotgun for long range, wood stocked M1A chambered for .308 (so it can gobble down anything)
Image

For up close I'd want a suppressed AR in 300 Blackout:
Image

For everything else, a SS satin finish doublestack 1911 in .460 Rowland, with a spare barrel and suppressor so I can swap back to .45 and get all ninja and shit :awesome:
Image

Alternate loadout would be a Kel-Tec RFB
Image
Pretty sure this is an official promotional image:

.44 Magnum levergun all done up scout gun style, probably with a suppressor so I can run some super heavy subsonic .44 loadings
Image
annddd A Ruger Redhawk, because anything worth killing is worth over killing :awesome: Would probably want the cylinder machined to accept .45 in moonclips (can this be done? I know 45 is just a weency fatter in diameter, if not, 45 LC mother fuckers!)
Image

I give this shit wayyyy too much thought...

My dream 3 gun carry for the Zombpocalypse?

That's easy-

Browning Hi-Power in 9mm
M-1 Carbine in .30 M1
Remington 700 in 7mm Rem Mag

I'm good with the BHP to 30 meters, soft points in the carbine make it good to about 150 meters, and anything outside of that effective range gets talked to by the 700.

I don't have much experience with firearms, so my kit may be stupid. This is based on the 1 of each category:

S&W M&P 9c with 12 round magazines with finger grip.
lever action .30-30
M6 Scout

I've only used one of those before, but they seem to cover anything I'd need. (unless I stumble into a gunfight, which I hope I never do)

They sound pretty decent to me. I don't have any experience with the M6, so I don't know if a single-shot would be my first choice, but the rifle/shotgun combo seems like a pretty clever way to go. 4 guns out of 3, huh?

And because this is fun, here's a not-so-serious, fun 3 gun pick.

Dream?

1. AR-15 SBR with suppressor, .22lr conversion bolt, and one of those folding stock adapters for packing it down.
2. Sig 220 with suppressor, extended mags and a good light.
3. If I have to have a shotty Remington 870 with 18" barrel and 7 round magazine, otherwise it's a toss up between a Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .308 or a Kel-tec RFB.

But I'd probably just stick to the AR and the Sig.

For me, hmm...

Rifle: DSA SA58 FAL, 16.25" barrel carbine with light and ACOG. No folding stock if it's my primary.
Pistol: CZ-75B and Kadet .22LR conversion slide and magazines.
Shotgun: Saiga 12ga with folding stock and shortened barrel. (Proper NFA paperwork, of course)

Realistically: my Type 56 with spike folding bayonet no fancy stuff, Its barebones or My M&P 15 with my .22 reciver barrel an upper mods. My shotgun is my Sadre Paula 12g. I am not 21 her stateside so I dont have a handgun, but I guess I could borrow my granpa's Model 19 .357, he's dead so he doesnt need it and there dozens of carbines in his locker.

Alternatively: not so realistic fantasy: A Saiga .308 converted with POAK sight black and dark earth and foldin Magpul stock with bipod and foregrip and tactical flashlight and laser and several 15 round mags. Shotgun is Remington 870 Express tactical with ghost rings, a action taclight, Remington reciever shell cradle and stock shell cradle. My handgun is a SVI single stack 1911 (or 2011) with taclight.

I would go for bought (before shtf) and scrounged (after) ammo availability and reliability.

Image (Swedish second alternative for handgun, G17 is main)
Image 22LR ammo is abundant and need a rifle
Image AK-101 to use swedish standard 5.56 NATO ammo, but with AK reliability

My Girlfriend would get a shotgun and a Tanfoglio IPSC 9mm open pistol, and a sniper rifle (338 Lapua)

I'll play just for the fun of it; totally internet-ranger/katana wielding jedi style.

Rifle: Heckler & Koch HK416
Shotgun: AA-12
Pistol: Desert Eagle, dual wielded

:awesome:

But more realistically/"seriously",
Rifle: SCAR-H (though I'd take the HK416)
Shotgun: Benelli
Not Shotgun: H&K MP5
Pistol: Glock, possibly SIG or S&W; I don't think I've fired the "perfect" pistol for me yet.
