House full of zombie bikers

Post by 123123 » Wed Oct 13, 2010 6:54 pm

Ok guys how about a little help with a house full of Z Bs moving in down the street. First the pop density in the area is about 40% and semi wooded, most of that is non zombie. Clean lil hood to live in tell the bikers come. About >1/2 mi down the road, in moves the zombies. Its as if they have not so come to the virus. By that I meen they have partys all hours, beer, gunshots, beer, and HD bikes, beer, seems to be there M O. They serve beer on the porch and keep the cans out of the yard. Bars on the doors none on the windows. Heat with wood heat, no AC.

They will not welcome any one from the street(there zombies right?). Also they have sit there place up with lights to blind any one looking at the house at night specificly from the road while keeping out of the light themselves. This lends me to think that they are looking for a fight. We have not made contact nor want to. Most are age 40 and up so there not some young punks.

So what say you? How would you, what would you do?

Once they found out I'm a Harley mechanic and build custom bikes for a living......

THEY WOULD WORSHIP ME AS A GOD!!!

But seriously, I get along with bikers quit well so I don't see a problem. I'd grab a case of beer and invite myself over to welcome them to the neighborhood. If nothing else to get some inside intel before asking them to not shoot after 9pm and offer to readjust their flood lights. Hell, once they see what an asshole I am they might move! Or I would sneek over after they're drunk and passed out and "rewire" all their bikes then charge to fix them.

Living people are not zombies.

to quote Kyle:
I think a clarification needs to be made about what the "zombie" metaphor means to ZS in this community so this mistake isn't made.

It is VERY important that everyone realizes that when we discuss the walking dead we are not talking about other groups of living people. Zombie is a metaphor for disaster. If you have to think of zombie as an analogy then treat it as a hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, etc.

Kyle is right of course but i think peolpe just throw in "zombies" just because we're on Zombie Squad forum. Most of the scenarios i see around here go something like this:

"Economic collapse for your nation has happend, then zombies attack"

"Your supply storage has burned down, then zombies attack'

"Your taking a crap and noticed that there's no more toilet paper......THEN ZOMBIES ATTACK!!!!"
Because no honest man should be limited to ten rounds. Sorry Bill. I like your revolvers but I hope you rot in hell.-yossarian

if you dont learn google-fu around here your pants will catch fire. Im just sayin.-Blkhrt13

When danger threatens, call on me....
And I will equalize." ~ unknown

I live in the biggest city near Sturgis so basically I live in biker central. You get used to it. As was said before, things should quiet down. I think you'll find that most bikers are pretty good guys once you get to know them.

I have no issue with zombie WWYD... but this seems to have nothing to do with zombies. Zombies only want braaaaaaaiiiiiinnnnnnns..... These guys seem to want their privacy and beer.

If they are an established biker gang and into illicit activities they are probably already being monitored.

But the older ones are missing flesh and everything, Of corse the younger guys are not. setting the story to the zombie tune just helps me deal with it OK  .

Normal every day life I am not to uptight about them but after SHTF............

They are the patch type so I am not to hopped up to "go with beer" and they are local_8 1_support but that meens the feds are looking, so now I know I dont want to go with beer.

Any info that you guys know about H_ A. supporting clubs.

Btw I use the zombie metaphor not to devalue life but to make the "What If" ZS friendly.

Not sure, if their not bothering you?

Live and let live. or let rot, or let whatever.

Remember a very small percent are what you might refer too as outlaw bikers, most are simply living around a lifestyle that centers on motorcycles.

Frankly, I'd be real glad that one of those emo vampire coven wannabes didn't move in instead...

I think thats all I can/want to do. Alright as for the emo vampire coven "What If" The first thing I would do is plant a garden full of garlic and then install "sunlight type bulbs" in all my flood lights!

I was good friends with a girl in HS that lived next door to a biker house (The real, youbetcha patch wearing kind). Yeah, they threw some parties, but they were actually decent neighbors. They kept the house and yard in good repair (From what you could see of it through the stockade fence) and didn't fcuk with the neighbors (unless fcuked with first). Not the friendly neighbor type, but not outright belligerent assholes either.

And they kinda kept an eye on things in the neighborhood. In the four years I knew this girl, her neighborhood was pretty crime-free. These guys generally don't shit in their own yards, and don't cotton to outsiders crapping up the place, either.

Contrary to other boards, using the term "mutant zombie biker" to somehow justify playing vigilante against other people doesn't fly. Discussing how you would kill raiders (MZB's) isn't something that productive or allowed here. Adding the term "zombie" when you mean "living people" doesn't change the fact that you're likely discussing breaking the law, or asking questions to try to entice other people to break our rules.

From the thread of rules, post the first:

1.) No discussion of illegal activities as a viable option.

Calling them "zombie" bikers or even "mutant zombie" bikers or raiders or gangsters or whatever doesn't make a difference as to how they are viewed on these forums.

Having known a few of the patch wearing kind of bikers and having been around the H.A. "kind" as well, the beer thing can be a good idea. Just do it smart. Take over a case of decent beer, skip the Keystone light, and do it during the afternoon but well before dark. You want it light out just in case. And make sure someone knows you are going over. Again, just to be safe. But 99% of the time, if you show up with beer and don't act like an ass, they will at least also not act like asses.

If the noise is an issue, talk to them about it. Things like "Hey, I know you guys like to party and I have no issue with that, but can you do me a solid and keep it to a low rumble after 10? I got kids and all". Usually, if you throw in the kids part, they will comply because a lot of the older guys have kids too. Basically appeal to their parental side. Same for the gun fire... if the area is mostly people free, give them a direction that is "safe" to shoot and ask them to avoid shooting after 10. Worse case they say sure to your face and keep doing it. Like others have said, if the cops are watching, they will see it too and eventually handle it. It's the eventually part you have to deal with.

At no point make it seem like you are responsible for sic'ing the police on them. If they are 1%ers, there could be trouble. You may find a time where you have to call the police on them. Tell the cops you DO NOT want to be interviewed or approached. If they need a statement, go into the station and give it there.

Oh and don't touch their bikes, their brothers, their beer, their dogs or their women... pretty much in that order. ;)
