Would they really try to evacuate all large cities? That sounds like an almost impossible waste of time.

Actually pretty good Only able to watch about 8 minutes of it but was pretty believable to that point.

Back in the early '70's I met the guy in charge of planning the evacuation of the island of Manhattan
in the event of nuclear attack. I told him "I just crossed the George Washington Bridge at 5:00 PM.
Why don't you just let those people die in peace?"
Shot 'em, now I'm gonna hang 'em, then I'm gonna burn 'em!
Damn Zombies. Can't ever be too dead to suit me.

Fun video!

I heard them advise at 6:14 that you need to take with you 14 days of food and water for each person. At one gallon per day for each member of a family of four that is 56 gallons or 314 pounds of water to throw in the family Prius. .

Wow, this went just about as badly as I thought it would.

Those EAS tests used to scare the hell out of me when I was a kid. The only fallout shelter I was aware of was the Post Office in my town: we had a population of roughly 30,000 and I think the shelter was rated for 200. You do the math.

After seeing a film of an atom bomb test (the one where the paint on the house smokes, then the house gets flattened) I'm pretty sure that fallout shelters like that one are just pre-dug mass graves.

Welp, Happy Thanksgiving!

Just think in an emergency trying to evac a city..... Just look at what it's like in LA during holiday travel.

I saw feeds for Chicago and NYC last night that showed similar. Unfortunately I cannot find the pics now.

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.
