There used to be a human being who drove that and did that job, earning a living and supporting themselves. Walmart is doing everything it can to eliminate workers in the stores. They've already said they will be eliminating greeters and have been laying off those that are disabled and who can't be transitioned to other jobs in the stores, and doing it "legally" by redefining the job requirements in such a way as to force people out. There was one greeter I read about recently who was told he has 30 days left to comply with the new job requirement that he be able to lift 50lbs and reach objects on the top shelves in the store. The man is in a wheelchair. How's he supposed to reach that shelf?

Personally, I'm shopping as little as I can at Walmart these days.

Skirts ADA rules?

yea, that would NEVER happen at walmart... :awesome:

Time to fight back with rouge AIs... or maybe a directed energy rifle of some sort. Where'd I put that pamphlet on Quantum Physics...?

Well that depends on if when you hit the breaker the AI powers down with a mournful wail.

I actually have no idea, boskone.

I haven't watched any of the "Terminator" movies in a long time and I don't know all the lore behind them. Last one I watched was "Terminator 2" and that was about 15 years ago.

In the alternate timeline of Terminator Genesis [also in 1984] and in the TV series, she does some resistance work.

And i guess you could say in T2, the the plan to assassinate Miles Dyson is an act of resistance.

And in the first Terminator she terminated the terminator in a hydraulic press as and act of self defense but that also worked as resistance against Skynet.

Yes, she's a resistance fighter since 1984.

Two things crossed my newsfeed this morning that belong here:

Humanoid robot crosses balance beam with ease in new video

and

Google is bringing Electronic IDs to Android

They are learning to overcome all obstacles and soon they will be able to steal our identities and impersonate humans! :gonk:
