I have my choice of :

a coaster
a pencil
several sheets of paper
scotch tape
a rubber band

I think I'm going with the pencil, possibly combined with the rubber band.

My computer desk is surrounded with weapons. To my left is..
A cold cup of coffee
A leather strop
Some Ronsonol lighter fluid
An American Kami Spork, it's pointy
a few insignificant things

Ah, and an 18" Ontario machete, and I've convexed the edge.

I've used this machete for lots of hard use, it's a tough ass blade, and sharp.

There are no peas to the left of me! :gonk: Besides, Jorg has proven the pencils will do more damage.

Right now, the object to my left is the door of my taxi. I do have an XD-40 Subcompact in a shoulder holster under my left arm, though. Does that count?

2 sheets of paper, and empty coke can, a plastic spoon and my sunglasses.

I guess my options are limited to cokeshitcanning most of it and just having to resort to spooning with sunglasses on.

I've got the choice of a 21inch monadnock expanding baton, my phone or a half empty cup of tea.

Well, the finger is pointing directly at the crappy computer speaker on my desk. However, if I look past that I do have a bottle of alcohol-based hand sanitizer, a mug full of pens/pencils, and one of those "you've worked for us a long time" employee awards that's a clock in a nice heavy wooden block.

I give myself about a 0.002% chance of survival to the front door in a zombie apocalypse with just that stuff. Someone please remember to double-tap when I lurch around the corner looking to snack on your brains. :?

Hmm... a 5 ft. ladder propped against the wall. That might be useful if I were Jackie Chan. I am regrettably not.

Hmm, I have a small metal safebox with my Glock 21 and a spare magazine in it. That might work ok.
