No zombie apocalypse photo thread would be complete without zombies. Used this video and photo tool: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/turned/ ... ?ls=1&mt=8

I thought this thread was about ZS members posting pictures that they took?

Here it is in the first post...
dogbane wrote:Hi. I thought I'd start a thread where people can post their own photos of destruction, dissolution, and decay. The photos simply need to evoke the PAW in some way. They do not need to be artistic photos, and they can include SHTF, riot, disaster or war photos as well as pictures of urban or rural decay.

These are pictures of two abandoned tunnels from the early sixties, meant to be part of an escape route to get cars full of people out of the LA Metro area. My full story is here: http://suntothenorth.blogspot.com/2015/ ... orest.html

Thanks! I really wanted to capture how remote they were and maybe a little of the mystery about how they came to be.

Great photos, teotwaki, and good write-up, too. I was born and raised in the foothills of those mountains and I didn't know the tunnels were there.

This one captured my imagination as a kid at the drive-in. Ironically, that drive in was located about 50 miles outside of Cincinnati.

I'm always partial to capturing images of deserted roads fading into the distance with little or no civilization in view

Also old buildings that speak to vanished people and forgotten endeavors.

Thanks! I am working on a new post from a day trip out to a mini apocalypse. It was the 1928 collapse of the Saint Francis Dam.
