I have searched but I don't even know where to begin or what to call the little balloons with scribbles and stars to the left of each post and what each one means exactly. Can you explain a little more clearer? With pictures if you please?

There are various icons to indicate normal post, announcement, sticky, etc. Sorry, I don't have a list handy.
