Yeah, we had some problems sending automated mails. I thought I got it fixed on Thursday, but there were some more bugs that got ironed out today.

There's your problem. You've been ironing the fwonkers. That just makes 'em mad (especially if you forget the starch). I suggest using a BFH instead.

All:

the domain has been transferred, and the DNS records have been updating.

This change is now propagating its way out through the internets now, it may take up to 18 hours for your DNS server to pick up the new IP for http://www.zombiehunters.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

At some point in the next few hours we will have to change the domain for the login cookie we write in your browser cache, and then you'll have to log in again.

Once this is done, that will hopefully be the end of the shenanigans for a while.

Also, is tap-a-talk working again on zombiehunters.org? I'm pretty sure it only stopped working because of the temporary URL.

One problem I'm currently seeing is that I'm getting thread notifications that take me to robotsquad.org, require me to login there, then won't accept the login. At that point if I then go to zombiehunters.org I'm auto logged in, but the thread reply that triggered the email isn't there.

Are we running two entirely separate DB's?? One for zombiehunters.org and one for robotsquad.org?

There's a thread that was started in the Zombie Squad Radio Club forum area on the robotsquad.org domain that isn't showing up here on zombiehunters.org

I had trouble logging in this morning. It kept booting me back to the login screen after I entered username/pass, but a few hours later it let me through.

Update: The above mentioned thread has been located here on zombiehunters.org, in the Communications section. I could have sworn that it was in the Zombie Squad Radio Club section on the robotsquad.org domain though. :?

No, it's in Communications. Is there a ZS Radio Club section? I didn't see one on a very cursory glance.

I had to switch to IE to log on. In firefox it just kept putting me right back at the login. I know of someone else having troubles, and they were using Chrome.

Not sure if this is a site bug, but I got a message come up saying that I might be being redirected in an attempt to gather passwords or something similar. I didn't write it down, but now I can't log into Zombie Squad on my home computer, but I can log on to ZS on another computer.

Could this have anything to do with the migration?

Are you allowing cookies for robotsquad.org?

This is most probably the reason.

Once the DNS servers have got themselves sorted out we will be moving back to the zombiehunters.org url.

Yes my computer allows "cookies". so hopefully this is ever so short term

Same problem here - all of my notification emails are pointing me to Robot Squad - but the topics are on ZS. The Robot Squad page won't log me in with my username and password.

This should sort itself out pretty quickly. In the meantime, replace new.robotsquad.org with http://www.zombiehunters.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in those URLs.
