Any podcasters here?

Post by Blast » Tue Jan 05, 2021 8:58 pm

If you haven't read this ZS thread on Vitamins and supplements for preppers check it out for some details on me and my job as the chemist/herbalist formulator for Medicine Man Plant Co. and sole creator/proprietor of www.foragingtexas.com.

Medicine Man Plant Co. was created Jan. 12, 2020 by three guys with a dream...and then the Fire Nation attacked, er, I mean the coronapocalypse hit. We're hanging in there but I'm looking to appear on podcasts to get our message out. That being said I can discuss a large number of topics such as:
Medicinal & Edible Plants (wild, gardening, or landscaping)
Ham Radio
Speaking on Hurricane Preparedness

All I ask is that I get two minutes to mention Medicine Man Plant Co and of course I'll give you free bottles of my products!

What brands of commercial multivitamins would you recommend? I'm particularly interested in long term shelf life for storage to supplement canned goods.

From an insiders opinion, the brands "NOW", "Jarrow" and Medicine Man Plant Co.* have the best purity and power. Keep in mind, the FDA says herbal supplements expire after two years from the manufacturing blend date but real-world testing says longer is likely.

What sort of supplements would you recommend for someone who has nerve issues (not like nerve damage, but more like anxiety issues and stress related things) ?

I ask because lately my anxiety has been kicking my butt and my go to anxiety pill is no longer on the market (I used to buy something called "Gaba-Complex" from Vitamin World or GNC whenever they had it in stock, which was rare). I've been taking a pill from a brand called "Kylonic" and it's helped, but not as much as my old one.

I tried those "Calm" brand gummies that are popular now, but I found they just turn me into a zombie and I don't like that. It's like I'm on autopilot and just coasting along until the gummies wear off, which takes a few hours.

Until then, I'm pretty much lethargic and unfeeling about anything. And I don't like that feeling.

Contact Ricardo over at HERBS and request "Merriwether's Battle Mage Tea". Tell him you're part of Merriwether's tribe and give him to code "forkingweeds". Feel free to message me in private.

If you want to do it the hard way, mix together 3 parts Ashwaghanda root, 1/2 part powdered nutmeg, 1 part Passiflora incarnta flower, 1 part rosella, and 1 part green tea. Brew this as a regular tea, drinking 1-2 cups per day.

In about 12 weeks I'll be releasing a capsule form "The Tranquility Pill" through my company Medicine Man Plant Co.. I just finished human testing and submitted it for manufacturing today. :D

Thanks, Blast.

Is there anything in pill form that you'd recommend as well ?

Until the Medicine Man Tranquility Pill is out (about 12 weeks), try a combination of these:
https://jarrowonline.com/collections/st ... eggie-caps
and
https://jarrowonline.com/collections/st ... eggie-caps
It'll be a slightly different mix than what's in The Tranquility Pill but it should lay the groundwork. As mentioned in other threads, Jarrow is my main competition but they're trustworthy.
Hopefully you'll give my product a try in a few months. :)
