Idk if it's current or not, but the IRS lists zombiesquad as having lost 501 (c)3 status almost two years ago...

It should kind of walk you through it.

Thanks, CG!

Just an observation- it seems to me that the meat world ZS leadership/ownership has been turbulent for the past few years. Would anyone like to comment on that?

I got my smile.amazon account linked to a local food pantry/homeless support group.

It's one of those effortless things you can do to throw a little money toward a good cause.

I won't do Amazon smile because I don't trust Amazon to actually get the money to those charities.

I just disbanded a non-profit I'd run for 13 years. We had a website and were Amazon affiliates. If you bought from Amazon using our link we got a small percentage. The first payment for about $20 seemed awful low, considering what our members reported spending through the link, so we started keeping a record of just what our board of directors were spending through the link. By our reckoning, we were due several hundred more dollars than Amazon sent us for that month, so I disputed it. Amazon insisted it was correct so we resigned from their affiliate program. Several years pass. I've moved, the corporation has changed states, old bank accounts closed, new ones opened, when out of the blue I get a notice from Amazon that our affiliate payment is ready to go out for the month. WTF? The Amazon site shows our account is closed when I login, but shows a payment of $200+ dollars is pending direct deposit... to an account we'd closed three years previously. So I try to get Amazon to understand that we're no longer affiliates, that I think this payment is what we were owed years previously and only now is the system finally spitting it out, but because our account is closed I can't change anything. When I finally do get hold of someone at Amazon who handles affiliates I'm told, "Don't worry, if the direct deposit fails we just mail you a check." Explaining that our address had also changed because we moved to a different state falls on deaf ears, "We can only send it to the mailing address on your affiliate account"...which is closed and where we can't make any changes. That was about 6 years ago. AFAIK they mailed the check to our old address. No idea what happened after that because when I try to ask Amazon, "We're sorry but that account is closed. Would you like to open a new affiliate account?"

Arrrggghhh! :gonk:
