More proof that the policy "Hugs not bullets" policy might not be as effective as desired in regards to containing the violence.
The message sent by this attack is a pretty clear to me: "plata o plomo".
Note the video is pretty graphic and NWS.

The part of about the children hiding from being slaughtered and then walking out is especially instructive. Drug gangs are completely and totally ruthless and revel in carnage.

Re: Mexico becoming a failed state?
My earlier wild guess appears to be wrong. The local cartel did not conduct the ambush. Sounds like the enclave has had peaceful, albeit strained relations with the local gang for a while, and the local gang actually showed up in force to help secure the site of the first ambush.

Good points, Rone.

It ain't just Mexico that is becoming a failed state.
They even have marking on vehicles, note the "CDN" marking.
It sure looks like it is time to say enough is enough.

Not quite Pancho Villa in size and destination but certainly an indication of contempt for all affected. The Governor of Coahuila, a Mexican state bordering Texas, revealed that approximately 150 cartel gunmen illegally snuck into Texas through dirt roads and the border river

That is clearly a government vehicle, not a gang vehicle. I don't care what letters are on the back. Only the government and well regulated militias are allowed to have any guns in Mexico, let alone "machine guns." Mexico has very strong gun laws and stiff regulations. You need to do more research and get your facts straight. You must be new here. We are a professional forum and only allow posters with "facts." We expect more research next time before posting.flybynight wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 9:25 amabsinthe beginner wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 9:19 amVilla Union Coahuila: CDN reportedly enters Five Springs Guerrero, Santa Monica, PN --21 dead

The computer keeps saying that it is racist to keep people not from your country, out of your country. I am starting to have my suspicions that the computer is "up to something".raptor wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 2:10 pm^^^^^--- I was just coming to post this link. -----^^^^^
