Terrorist Attacks In Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Post by mantis » Sun Oct 01, 2017 8:44 am

Overnight an ISIS inspired terrorist launched two attacks in the Alberta Capitol. The first attack took place outside the football stadium where the Edmonton Eskimos were hosting "Armed Forces Appreciation Night". It was a large event with a CF-18 fly-past, Gen Vance, the chief of the defence staff was present as were several hundred military personnel and 800 boy scouts attending the game and camping out on the field afterwards. The terrorist, driving a car flying a ISIS flag rammed a police car which was stopped with it's lights flashing and sent the officer who was outside the car flying 15 meters (50 feet) through the air. The terrorist then exited his car, attacked and repeatedly stabbed the injured officer before fleeing on foot.

Edmonton Police ran the car that was used and identified a suspect. A manhunt ensued and road-blocks were setup. A rented U-Haul truck approached a roadblock and when the officers checked the driver's license, they identified him as the wanted suspect. The terrorist ran the road-block and led police on a chase through the city making numerous attempts to run down pedestrians, sending at least four to hospital. The truck flipped on it's side and was immediately swarmed by police and the suspect was arrested. Police have said they believe this to be the work of a lone jihadi and no other suspects are sought at this time. The wounded officer is recovering in hospital from very serious wounds and there is no word yet on the exact number of pedestrians hit or their conditions.

The Edmonton terrorist has been identified as 30 year old Abdulahi Hasan Sharif. He is facing 5 counts of attempted murder and numerous terrorism related charges. He is reportedly "Known to police," however details have not yet been released. That could mean anything from having a criminal record to being on a terrorism watch list.

What a dick.
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be rememberèd—
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother

yes, apparently he was ordered deported from the states and then fled to canada, where he was welcomed with open arms thanks to the current, walk across the border, no vetting immigration policy of our current brain dead prime minister which is costing taxpayers up to a billion dollars per year. (and that folks, is a really long run on sentence)
