Seriously, that was part of a safety briefing I once had.
Goddammit. Now I wonder what it tastes like. At least someone had the decency to drink cyanide and write down the flavor.

But do feel free to swim in the reactor pool. It's warm and perfectly safe. Unless you get within say, 3 feet of the core.

Yeah, we got saltwater crocs that absolutely thrive in the cooling ponds around the reactors in Florida. They seem to have plenty to eat and enjoy the clean stable warm water.

TOKYO (Reuters) - Tokyo Electric Power will have to dump radioactive water from its destroyed Fukushima nuclear power plant directly into the Pacific Ocean, Japan's environment minister said on Tuesday.
These days of dust
Which we've known
Will blow away with this new Son

But I'll kneel down wait for now
And I'll kneel down
Know my ground
