Retailers from a UK perspective, although some of them may well ship internationally:

http://www.genuinearmysurplus.co.uk/
Used NATO steel jerry cans at £20 for 5. Plastic MoD water cans £7. 24hr rat packs £4.50 each (stock of these is patchy). All sorts of other gear.

http://www.anchorsupplies.com/
Best visited in person - some of their kit is very cheap, other stuff seems a tad overpriced.

http://www.army-world.de/
Yes, they're German. And the site is in German, which adds to the adventure. But if Flecktarn floats you boat, they're hard to beat even allowing for shipping.

http://www.smamit.co.il/
I haven't bought anything from these people, but they've come well recommended for bespoke luggage (packs, assault vests, chest rigs). And they'll make what you want; unique kit isn't a problem.

B&H Photo
Fast and good CS, good prices. They have some peculiarities but I bought my Bushnell Elite 3200 scout scope for $240 off MSRP and $50 better than anywhere else I could find. They are Orthodox Jews, so no business from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening. (not that it's an issue for me, but some of the complaints on review sites stick on it) I ordered (called in) on Friday morning and had it in my hands on Monday, and that was with two day shipping. Compare: Google's best regardless of rating $254 B&H $194 though they are out of stock at the moment.

Opticsplanet.com
Fast and good CS, good prices. I bought my Leupold QRW rings off of them. Could have gotten them cheaper on Ebay i guess. I paid $51. Still a good deal and I like being able to call and order.

I don't know much about this site, never ordered from them or anything. They do seem to have a good variety of gear for a PAW which I find interesting to browse.

Olympic Camping Gear

This place has some awesome prices, and tons of gear. There are a lot of good finds on there and their customer service is BEYOND amazing. The company is owned by a husband and wife who were described to me as "old guys" by Sue (the wife). We probably exchanged 20 emails before I placed my order, but it was all within an hour - she responds very quickly - and she works with you in whichever way she can. I placed 2 separate orders with them within the same day (There was a mixup with some things that were out of stock, so I asked her to refund the price of those so I can purchase a few different things). On the first order I placed everything was in stock and would be shipping tomorrow, and on the 2nd order I placed 1 of the items wasn't in stock and would ship on 4/14. I figured since I'm in no rush for the gear and she was being ultra nice that I'd tell her if it was easier for her to just hold both orders until the 14th that I'd gladly wait patiently. She told me instead that she'd ship everything that was in stock from both orders tomorrow, ship me the extra item that was out of stock for free when it comes in, AND she'll see if she can refund me the handling fee because she "likes doing that for larger orders". Honestly, I never really plug websites as a whole, I'll rave about deals but that's it. But this entire site is awesome, and the people are the friendliest I've ever talked with.

Edit - I was tired and my grammarless.
