Not sure where to put this,
Charges: Man stole delivery truck because he was 'running from zombies'
Garrett Howard Hurlbut, 23, was charged with stealing a motor vehicle on Sept. 29. Just after 1 a.m., according to court documents, Hurlbut stole the Star Tribune delivery truck while its driver was dropping off newspapers inside an Apple Valley Kwik Trip on W. 145th St.
Police found Hurlbut near the truck several blocks away, at 140th Street and Cedar Avenue. He told police that he had “jumped or fell from the truck” and was “running from zombies,” according to the criminal complaint.

Personally what I find funny is the fact is I know exactly where that store is, used to live like 5 miles away if that. I suppose though, if that's what you feel you should do, then do it, just try not to break the law though.

First and foremost, I am glad Mr. Hurlbut survived his ordeal. Nevertheless, he made three tactical mistakes during his escape from this zombie attack.
First, he was intoxicated away from a safe refuge. This is, for me, a big no-no. Zombies can strike at any moment and having his guard down (and heavily intoxicated) marked him an easy prey.
Then, there's his inability for him to run away from the zombie on his own steam. I know, he might not be in his best shape but it would had been better than what he did next.
Here's my third point; I rather be judged by twelve than ending as the next zombie's chow. This being said I expect to be judged by twelve if I broke the law. Instead of soliciting the help of a fellow human, the delivery driver, he stole the truck. This means that not only he stole the truck but he left a human being at the mercy of the zombies. This is, for me, unacceptable and reckless endangerment. I hope the court will keep this in mind when he will be judged.
