Reanimator zombie- our worst nightmare ?

Post by azrael99 » Tue Nov 26, 2013 7:13 pm

i saw most movie of the Reanimator series

and i saw those "zombie" , they are like the worse nightmare that we could have, you can forget the headshot, decapitation, and dismemberment

the body are resurrected by using a cocktail of chemical that glow with a strange and scary fluorescent green light

look at that

Image

and the effect is a pure nightmare, the corpse are resurrected but they aren't like the mindless zombie that we are used to, they conserve their memory and ambition and gain extra strenght , but the true problem is that, every single cell of the body is independant, that mean that each organ, part and other is that they can act independently if needed, like a head, his body, a hand, their intestine and even the , hum well........you know, our man-proud ?

here some exemple

what the hell could we do facing such threat ? we can't shoot them, we can't cut them up what could we do ?

you have access to napalm ? because i don't

and it actually take HOURS to burn a body to ash, why do you think it take so much time to cremate someone ?

Trying to consider the difficulty of combatting an organism where each cell has an independent nervous system, is sentient, and malicious? Whew.

I'd wake up, because you're right--that IS a nightmare.

Time to build that agricultural flammenwerfer.

I'm thinking snow plow with high-powered blades/side blower, and add half a dozen high-pressure propane "pear burner" heads oriented into the chopping bin. Hopefully the results would be fully charred, black and crispy zombie bits :awesome:

Combine followed by a team of Kubotas pulling propane vegetation torches?

The combine would have to really be beefed up. One of my farmer friends combined up a 150-ish lb wild hog in his wheat and it tore all kindsa hell out of the internals.

Alternate idea: Wonder if you could mount a 10' Brush Hog or other high-end mower to the front lift of a tractor? Probably not. No way to reasonably reroute the PTO to the front. Oh well, perpetual backing up is doable. :ohdear:

Interestingly I just saw Reanimator for the first time a couple weekends ago.

I like to read IMDB trivia and the comments while I watch old movies like this. The consensus among many is that Dr. Hill has Telekinetic powers and is able to control the reanimated corpses through telekinesis or some such, and they are not acting independently.* This is how he can control his own decapitated body.

So you really just have to take him out and the rest of the beings will cease to be controlled.

*I didn't see the sequels so I don't know if anything introduced in those changes this understanding of what was going on in the original.
