For those of you that are not aware, Zombie Squad has a wiki: http://zombiehunters.org/wiki/

This is a tool we use to try and store some of the best information found from here in the forums into a format that can be easier referenced later.

A new change has been made to fight some of the spam problems we've been having. We have tied the ZS Forum to the ZS Wiki. The wiki now uses the connection credentials of the forum software. You must use your forum username/password to log in.

However, at this time, only ZS Members are able to update the wiki. If you are not a forum member but you would like to contribute, let me know and we can get you access.

If you are a ZS Member and you have trouble logging into the ZS Wiki using your forum log in, let us know.


Thanks to everything who's put the time into building the Wiki. It looks great. Keep up the good work!

Anyone can edit the wiki now, not just ZS Members.



Although... we would really appreciate if you joined. It's only $15 a year.

Thanks for adding us to the index of all public wiki, DaveCary! I saw some website hits in our server logs coming from over there.

Ok, I made a change. Now any forum member can edit the wiki. You'll just need to edit your account settings as instructed on the login page of the wiki. Add yourself to the "Wiki Contributor" group.

Would it be possible to request that the Special:Statistics page be updated, and periodic database dumps enabled? I store wikis in XML as a backup for when Z-Day comes.

This is the best thing since the forum! So much easier to find information than going through pages of derail to find one good post.

I agree. This is a great way for us to pool our knowledge, and provides a convenient way for people outside the organization to learn from it. I've already made some minor contributions, and will try to make a habit of it in my downtime.

If we need another sysop/admin/mod or anything, I'd like to volunteer.

I tried to upload an XLS file (spreadsheet), it wont allow this.
Is there any way to upload this to the wiki or else where on the website?
The work sheet calculates Basal Metabolic Rate, caloric needs based on activity level, and breakdown of the caloric needs into macro-nutrients.

I've never altered a wiki page, but my first thought was converting the table to html. Anyway, here's a way to do it:

That wont work. This isnt a table its a calculator.
Formulas, etc.
Translating this into a table with varying grids for every weight / height / age combo would be incredibily LARGE! LOL!

Oh, I see. You're using the formula feature in an excel document to punch out numbers? I'm thinking that'll take some CSS tweaking. If I figure something out I'll shoot a PM.

ETA; ya know, I'm thinking this'll take some java.

If only some of our more distinguished posters could be "encouraged" to edit and contribute to the wiki it could truly be awesome. Or someone with the skill set to transcribe the information.

I discovered Zombie Squad through the Wiki and I've been a contributor to it on and off for the past 2 years. I would like to see a few more of our resident topic experts bring their knowledge to the wiki. I would also like to invite members to link Hall of Fame threads to wiki pages on the same subject. Please don't leave it to the few of us who edit the wiki, we would like some help!
