The Super Zombie Killer

Post by Morgan Bale » Sun Sep 17, 2017 9:30 am

Ok. I created an alter ego called Morgan Bale, a zombie super slayer. All he needs is in a military purse that contains weapons and equipment to survive during a zombie apocalypse.

But let me tell you more. I was inspired by comics to match the style of combat and colors. Specifically, I wanted to create something "patriotic" inspired to the colors of the Italian flag (in fact I am Italian): green, white and red. For this reason, I chose as "model" Spawn! I thought it was perfect to make Morgan.

As for the weapons, I wanted to do something different from the usual. In most zombie-themed movies and video games, the survivors, or the exterminators, have so many firearms. But I don't think this really serves a lot in a real zombie apocalypse. In fact, sooner or later the ammo ends and everything comes down to a melee combat. For this reason, I decided to bring two cutting arms and a single firearm for emergency situations or... as a last defence. In a real zombie apocalypse, we can't go around shooting wildly, we would be surrounded in a moment. You have to be silent and lethal, so I built this specific set.

So here are the pictures of my outfit. Have fun! :)

I especially appreciate the metal drinking flask in your zombie killer kit. If it's the end of days and I'm holed up in a barricaded house with hordes of the undead pressing in from all sides, I'd want a nip of something strong to fortify me. I'd take a final hit of that, chamber my last shotgun shell and unsheath my well-used kukri.

Come and get me, I'd mutter as I cast the empty flask aside.

By the way: is that airsoft shotgun one of the models that fire a 3-shot spread? I had an airsoft shotgun back in the day, but it only fired a single 6mm BB. It was essentially a pump action carbine with no sights.

Yep. It's my favourite too. It's very important :)

Cool! But i've taken that falsk to carry water in wood and dunes. Water become really important in a post apocalyptic situation.

Yep. It shoots three 0,25 g bb simultaneously.

Morgan Bale: Zombies will finally know fear.
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be rememberèd—
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother

Great costume! And that kit and patch look really good. You did a good job on the Italian flag and imagery.

Your bag looks great. Very organized and professional.

I think you might enjoy an older thread we call our "mall ninja" thread. It is where many of us have dressed up and showed off our gear for fun. Though some image hosting sites in the US have changed, so pictures might have dissapeared. I don't know.

See you around the forum!
