Parody of our military's acronym: MOUT

I've seen a lot of military training "towns" geared towards those overseas hot and sandy areas. Many of the training areas have a lot of cool detail to add realism to the experience.

I recently ran across pictures of a local USMC "neighborhood" that is built to resemble a typical SoCal layout, constructed at Camp Pendleton.

This is a link to one Marine's training there: http://tracer311.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html

It would be awesome to be able to use that "neighborhood" for ZOUT classes. It has a lot of American inspired detail: SoCal style houses, school bus, blue USPS mailbox, street lamps, etc.

I am interested in similar North American styled MOUT locations. Please post pictures or web sites if you have them.

There are a bazillion paint ball and air soft sites out there ranging from the pretty simple "hammered together out of old pallets" to repurposed buildings with multiple stories. These are easily accessible to just about everyone of practically every age.

SC village is probably the best. Their stuff rivals the military, except they have no role players.

The McKenna MOUT site at Fort Benning is pretty big but looks to be old buildings that the base grew out of.

Occasionally the US Govt will allow paintball play on the MOUT sites. I've personally played on the one in Fort McClellan, (Alabama) Old worldish style with large 8ft sewers that open up into the basements of the buildings. I've also played on the one in Camp Blanding (Florida). New world style, small culverts, manholes, etc. Tons of multi-storied buildings in bots with tons of rooms, murder holes, corners, etc...
