In terms on firearms In a PAW,

SA80 A2
SIG P226

Because that's whats in the armoury on base, hundreds of them.

Hopefully there will be ammo left, standard NATO ammo so should be ok for two of us :)

A couple ideas:

Group Standard - Standardize weapons across the group. All adults should be using the same rifle, the same pistol, the same shotgun. That way you can share not just ammo but magazines and spare parts.

Two is One, One is None - If al you have is one, say, rifle, then it only takes one thing to break and you don't have a rifle anymore. If you have two rifles and one of them breaks, then you have a rifle and some spare parts.

Clean Your Weapons - The rule of themb is you clean your weapons after every use, and at least once a week. "Dude, my AK runs just fine dirty." Yes, but it runs better clean.
