7 foot long hewing spear or boar spear. With a mace or war hammer for close up.

That whole story's pretty funny.

As best I recall, the thrower didn't think he'd actually hit the drone. The drone operator took it in pretty good humor. There's a viking-style stone on the site now carved with the scene of the valiant warrior slaying the flying monster.
