at the moment street gatherings (more than 6 people)of any kind are illegal under the lock down laws, gather in large numbers for whatever reasons and you could be arrested.
protests are allowed under strict rules in normal times but these arent normal times.
some people that prefer to be alone are not anti social they just have no time for Drama, Stupidity and false people.

That's not true, despite the Met police claiming it to be and the press reporting those claims as fact.
From the
HMICFRS report into policing of the Sarah Everard vigil:
HMICFRS found that an event on Clapham Common could have taken place because the right to protest remains even during the pandemic.

Typical hit piece that will gin up an emotional response from those who are easily manipulated. Violent crimes occur on every night, but only get media attention on the weekends.

If you aren't following the Chauvin trial updates, you should. Frankly, the prosecutors almost seem like they're throwing the game. The question then is, what happens if officer Chauvin isn't found guilty? Buckle up.

I'm seeing echoes of Zimmerman, where people are going too disregard anything exculpatory of the defendant.
Dunno if Chauvin's actually guilty of something or not, it's largely out of my area of expertise. But I'm seeing a lot of social comments about the knee being on Floyd's neck, which sounds categorically wrong...and that erroneous view by the mob doesn't bode well.

I admit, this is the first I heard there was a hostile crowd on the scene.
Good article Blast.
I think this is going to get real interesting.

Kinda makes you wonder, eh? Nothing in the PNW newsies about Seattle, Olympia or Portland either... maybe they can take down the plywood.

No need. I'm sure some kindly, peaceful demonstrators will be along soon to do it for them.

Makes me wonder about an old friend that I lost contact with a few years ago, who was a LEO in Brooklyn Park.

Hopefully he was one of the many smart ones that have quit the force there. It's a horror show for LEOs...and going to get worse.

I suspect he's retired by now, hopefully relaxing with an adult beverage and a faithful pooch by his side.

GOOD! Hmmm, it'd definitely be a small world if his last name started with an S and ended with a D. That would be a cousin of mine!
