Everyone has their style, right? I wanted a belt setup, in a Sam Browne style with an ancient Celtic style for fun things I do with some "re-enactment groups". So this belt is an old style with some new features... The bag has placements to hide my electronics, but also hold my BP tools as well. There is a second bag thingee still being created that will hold a powder horn and grease, and other dirty shooting things. The Rat 6 hangs from this well too as well as my Dirk(diggler). There are other hangers for a drop leg, but I am building a holster set for my two 50 cal pistols to go directly under the Sam Brown strap, which is adjustable to either side of the belt.

The deer hide is one I shot while living on Palomar mountain, The rest is raw leather that My friend hand carved and colored. She does great work. Extreme attention to detail. I supplied all the interior things for her to map out and she wetformed over my Scott's elixir bottle(for Whiskey!) and the Nalgene canteen.

Pretty amazing work. You could patent the pattern and call it Multi-Celt. Thanks for posting so many pictures.

Multi-Celt for the win. Also, now all I can picture is Dawgboy running around in the ZPAW with this belt and a few other archaic weapons.

Coming over a dew covered rise, the morning sun behind him, majestically surrounded by a vicious pack of Dachshunds. Perhaps their motto could be "Death from the ankles down!"

Really awesome leather work.

Anyone have any issues with lack of padding or stuff moving around too much on the belt? Thinking of switching to a standard belt with BFG pouches to trim it down and maybe cut down on heat build up (FL here).

Edit: Have a trauma class coming up soon and was considering just going with a light battle belt instead of my chest rig so I can focus more on learning med skills and less on getting around gear.
Since I can import some gear but not all, I have to work with what I have and improvise. I use a standard, cheap labored local army web belt along some MOLLE stuff that i've been able to pick along the way or get inside my country.

MOLLE gear slides all around the place (belt) if not secured somehow. So, I had a bunch of un-used ALICE clips laying around, so I took them and use them as belt keepers. Problem solved.

This is my current shotgun rig. I found out that carrying loose shells was faster that donning a chest rig with pouches.

My setup:

- Cheap local army belt
- Cheap pistol mag pouch (althought its well made)
- Condor dump pouch/bag
- Condor flashlight holder
- Condor IFAK pouch
- Leather Browning HI-power holster
- God-knows-what brand MOLLE pistol mag pouch (used for a small multitool/blade)

Thanks Doc,

I put together a simple belt with a paddle holster (all I had) and BFG belt pouches; so I have a pistol, one AR mag, two pistol mags, and my EDC knife horizontally on my pants belt. I'll post a picture when I take one. I put it on and walked around the house and liked the feel of it, feels a lot more slimmed down and should help with heat build up, but the pouches slide around like you said; thinking about getting some velcro and putting it on the belt where the pouches go so they don't slide.
Will be wearing this all day in my trauma med class and with a chest rig during hands on scenarios so I'll have a better formed opinion then.

Very similar to my belt ( even down to the God-knows- what pistol mag pouch for Gerber multi tool. Just more rifle pouches ,less pistol (1), a sheath knife and kydex holster
As of now I bet you got me wrong

Anyone know if the Safariland 7TS Concealment holsters work with the UBL Mid-ride attachment?

https://holsterops.com/collections/hols ... 4894500551
Wanting to get my gun belt more squared away, currently run a chest rig with plans to add armor later, so I was looking into the UBL Mid-ride. My Shield is the only pistol I have, so it's what I'll run on my gun belt.
Also, does mounting a knife behind a dropped pistol work well on a gun belt? Looking to put my BK14 on my belt as well and that would seem to be a good place to run it due to space considerations with trying to keep the belt balanced and slim.

One thing about Safariland, they picked a bolt pattern and stuck with it. I'm 99% sure it will fit. I actually picked up a Safarilaminate coyote ALS holster for the Shield and mounted it on an MLS15 fork so I can swap it in onto my war belt if I want to. My pouches are ALS universal pistol pouches so I can generally swap in whatever pistol and magazines.

Once you get a full sized pistol you can keep using that holster for concealed carry on that paddle, so long as you don't mind concealing with that level of retention.

What belt? What does the rest of your setup look like? Depending on what you want I would also recommend to take a look at the UBL High.

Belt is just a two inch duty belt style setup, currently running BFG belt pouches for rifle and pistol mags. Phone is screwing up and won't let me take new photos. Plan is to run one rifle SET Burro and two pistol SET Burro on my support side, TQ, holster and BK14 on strong side.
