So I have a question about your Poly ones... Are they poly tarp or some other sort of material?

I agree, they do work pretty well and have made many shelters from them. Sewn or glued? I have done well with HH66. I'm going to save some money and get a silnylon one from you in December. I like how they look. Looks like very good quality work you are doing there.

May I too ask a question?

What kind of machine are you using to sew these? Thread - UVC and stable?
Thanks in advance!

Despite the weight, I think that is actually really cool.

some machines just work well. i have 25 dollar garage sale machines that are a joy to use and i have 1000.00 machines that are a pain in the ass. anywhere from light duty kenmores to the heavy duty industrials. just learn each ones quirks and keep them adjusted and oiled and start sewing. thread varies from heavy duty nylon upholstery to polyester. not all thread is created equal.

I made a couple of really nice sails using polytarp and they lasted several years. What I did was seam them with 2 sided carpet tape and then sewed it up using my wif'e grandmother's antique Pfaff. But any decent machine should do it. the trick is to find an older used one with metal gears as they will sew anything... Also, a light touch with the foot or it will snag.

Thats pretty damn cool. Too bad the camo pattern obviously isn't designed for that large of a surface area :(

a little bit repetitious aint it?

might actually be alright in burn areas. i used the ASAT pattern this year in a burn and it worked well enough that we were moving towards a group of elk and they never spooked. they were looking our direction.
