[ETA: now back up to $15.35. A little trick for Amazon users on this or any other desired item that isn't needed right away: add it to your cart and leave it there. Check your cart daily and Amazon will automatically flag any items that have changed in price. If it goes down and you're tempted to buy, paste the item link into camelcamelcamel.com to get pricing history. If the item is at or near an historic low, pull the trigger.]

Tasco Essentials 10x25mm micro binoculars. $7.99 shipped with FSSS or Amazon Prime
http://www.amazon.com/Tasco-Essentials- ... +Binocular

Definitely not the best quality binos, but they seem to get good reviews for functionality and decent build quality. At $8 don't expect super clear optics. And a 25mm objective doesn't gather a lot of light for 10x magnification. But at $8, your alternatives are those plasticky toy binoculars you'd find in a museum gift shop or a Discovery Toys store at your local mall. An affordable addition to your grab and go pack if you feel that long range optical capability would be useful in your AO.

I just got my new bag from R N W disaster preparedness.
It was $70 seem like pretty good quality.Lots of pockets.
I also picked a case of MRE's from them. $85 for a full case with heaters not to bad. The shipping was a little high but I can't find them around here.

The Academy Sports stores in my area all have a lots things on clearance. I bought several sleeping bags and tents along with a couple of Old Timer Sharpfinger knives for 50-75% off! Might be worth checking your local sporting goods store.

Smith and Wesson is offering 3 free mags with any M&P pistol purchase (besides Shield).

So online, you can get a M&P shipped for $420... with a total of 5 mags after rebate. I might be joining the M&P crowd. Rebate is until May 2015.

Botach's back at it with their LEO spec'd Fuji Police Patrol bikes. I posted about these last October, when the 2014 model was going $695.

Now the 2014 model is being sold for $425, and this is a "make an offer" deal. An optimistic, but not insanely unreasonable offer will usually elicit a discounted counter offer, so I don't think it'll be hard to get Botach to let these go for $400. But even $425 seems like a really good deal for quality, heavy duty all purpose human-powered bug out and fuel free post-SHTF transportation. I think these are suddenly so cheap because Fuji has just come out with a 29'er version of their Patrol bike, which is all the rage right now.
