Since we can't all be trolling every storefront all of the time, please point out amazing deals and/or sales that you come across. This doesn't have to be something you have or would buy, but rather something that you think zombie hunters in general may be after. This post is taking on a life (over 300K views, which I believe is a good thing), but it looks like we need to be a little more specific about the thread rules.

Thread Rules;
The idea is not to provide gear reviews, start comparisons or debate about vendors/websites. Most people already have their opinions and you can always start a seperate thread asking for a review or compare.

Let's avoid links to members-only and deal-of-the-day websites. These sites have a proven value but have already been mentioned repeatedly in this thread. Regardlesss of their overall value, its a been-there, done-that for this discussion.

When you do find one please give us;
 a link to the site
 image (if possible)
 msrp/regular price
 sale price
 add why this is such a value.

The key is value.

I thought we talked before about not linking these buyers club sites..... If we haven't, then I'm talking about it now.

If people are looking for deals, we've already linked these buyers clubs repeatedly. Let's stop listing their deal of the day every day. This thread has been dominated by these posts (DVOR and THECLYMB) and that's not the intention. Please save this for unusual deals, coupons and discounts and be sure to offer a link to where it's available.

Is this just for bags, or other? I know Home Despot has been selling LED headlamps for $10-$12 lately, with batteries. They are name brand (Energizer, iirc) and come in an awesome 4-led and more awesome 6-led version. Thanks to the ZSC-001 thread for posting this one.

Unless there's a better thread I was going to share whatever I find. The first two just happened to be bags.

I just got some stuff from Sportsman's Guide:

2 German Rucksacks for $19.97! This is going to be the base for my BOB, and I got another one for my wife. I didn't want to get a pack that was too large, so this fits the bill. They are in great shape for surplus.

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=321488

A four pack of aluminum 9 LED flashlights for $19.97. I got the gunmetal as they were out of the black. These are pretty cool. The battery pack rattles a wee bit inside the barrel, so I just put piece of cotton to dampen it. All in all a very good buy.

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=450225

I didn't see these when I ordered, but check out these new alcohol stoves: 10 for $19.97.

I was looking at the same German Rucks for a hiking daypack. I was torn whether to go this low buck way or jump right in and get a Camelback Motherlode. Let me know how you like the rucks when you get them. You might want to pick up the two pack of Moras they have too.

I have nothing else to contribute to the thread, at this time.:D

Damn! Every time I go back to that site they have more cool stuff.

I'll let you know on the rucks. I wanted something that wasn't too big, mostly because we're going to try and BO first by auto to a more secure location (and my back may not handle a big load). If it becomes necessary to bail on the auto, then BOBs come into play. I used to have a similar pack, Italian surplus, that I schlepped all over Mexico back in the 1990s. That one was not that as comfortable nor nicely designed. These German ones seemed to be better designed and of better quality.

I've never understood why, but Sportsman's Guide charges you more for the two-pack than if you buy then individually:

Reposted from the Other Gear section thread on CRKT as this seems a more appropriate place...

Columbia River M16 Carson Tanto Combo Blade Zytel Handle - $19.95
Tanto Blade, Combined Razor-Sharp & Triple-Point™ Serrated Cutting Edge
Blade: Length: 3.00” (7.6 cm) Thickness: 0.08” (0.20 cm)
Steel: AUS 4, 55-57 HRC
Closed: Handle length: 4.00” (10.2 cm)
Open: Overall length: 7.125” (18.1 cm)
Weight: 2.3 oz. (65 g)

The M16 series from CRKT consistently gets good reviews and is in use by many members of ZS from what I've seen on the forums.

The last few times I've been at Menards (similar to Lowes or Home Depot) here in Central Indiana, I have seen hand-crank LED flashlights for less than $7. I bought a couple and they work very well.

Also, while supplies last, they have backpacks (the kinds kids use for school) for $5 with a $5 rebate (in-store credit). Some of these are cammo. I should add, I gave one to my son and it tore early on this school year. For some uses though, a "free' backpack may be better than no backpack.

Both the Gerber LMF II knife, and $20 LaPoliceGear bag are awesome. Get both, I guarantee you won't regret it.

I've been using this as my EDC/laptop bag for the past 6 months or so. Works great with a lot of modularity. Those side pockets (with the radio) hold a 750ml camelbak perfectly (the 1L naglenes are a little tight). Overall great materials and workmanship. I've been very impressed with it.

I've been waiting for LAPG to ship my Gerber LMF for a week (other stuff in my order was backordered). It finally shipped today!

LAPG also bought out a large lot of BlackHawk gear and are selling it cheap here. I got a three point sling for 75% off and a set of kneepads for 50% off. A lot of the Blackhawk tac vests are 75% off too...
