1XAAA. I had to reverse the order shown given the nature of the gray AA spacer working with the AAA to AA converter. Worked really good. No flickering etc but probably one of the larger 1XAAA flashlights out there.
Not exactly a thin 1XAAA flashlight.
But it works and if it had to.
4 X AA in a max 9V host M61WL. The 2XAA sleeve was rather good at reducing rattle even though it covered only 2 of the 4. Than again the 6P is not that bad for AAs.
4XAA in a max 12 volt host. Oddly 4XAA really works great in both a Malkoff M61WL and M91W Gen 1. Tossed in all the sleeves and they really worked even if the last one was for a CR123.
1XAAA no rattle.
1XAA no rattle.
I could also run...
1X Lithium ion 18650 or equivalent to primary battery types in size.
2X Lithium ion same as above.
3x Lithium ion same as above.
And maybe more that I have not tested like 4XAAA. Never tried 4XCR123 but 3X4 is 12 so maybe. Clearly not in the same head as have low/med/high options. Gotta be careful not to mix them up or something will get fired.
