How many days? Like a 3 day bag? A 24 hr bag? Commercial? Military?

Naturally it's not available at the moment, but here it is: http://a.co/aU0XCMh

There are several that are identical to it from other sellers: http://a.co/8QPdgXT http://a.co/4TZon4B
Similar, slightly smaller one that I also considered: http://a.co/7jCp0Y9
Amazon is rather full of cheap graymarket stuff these days.

I may pick up a drab or dark raincover for it, in case I want to not stand out in outdoor conditions.

4 months... I'll be flying so I'll have the miserable roll along luggage, but I want a bag while I'm up there for weekend stuff (in -40* weather)

Edit: Flying commercially...I won't be there with the military, but I may bring my seabag as a piece of luggage just because I can fit a bunch of stuff in it and the TSA cant ruin the zippers on them. I might use that as my weekend bag

I'll have to check those out!! Yeah, I agree about the grey market stuff, I hope Amazon doesn't fall into the same trap as Ebay where it turns into an online flea market with bootleg knockoffs

EDIT - Well maybe not. Not such good reviews on the site.

Here's a good link to search. https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/backpack

Nothing too defined. Kinda depends on what I can find, but I want it to be "value for money". So basically, for my needs, anything over $100 won't be worth it in my eyes, but I'd prefer under $50.

My life won't depend on it, but I want it to last a couple years from moderate use

Man. If you went 20 dollars or more up you could afford a 5.11 Rush 12. I have one and they are bomb proof. HAve a laptop sleeve. And excellent pocket and zipper layout. I would highly recommend checking camel camel camel for one. Condor also makes some excellent bags in the 100 dollar mark. or less.

The more I look at LAPG's bags. The more I'm convinced this is the sweet spot. Really nice bags for about half the price of others. Here's their 3 day bag for $64. I'd wait till friday and see if they have any black friday deals on these.

Dude. I can't recommend this enough. I've had one for two years and it's the best backpack I've ever owned. Larger sizes on sale too.

EDIT - Oh. And that's the best price EVER.

Moab, I actually think I'm gonna go with the LAPG one for $30-ish. That's a sick deal plus I can get it in grey or foliage for subtle not-so-tactical but tactical-enough colors

I hear you. I think I'm actually going to pick one up too. It looks very lightweight. And I don't have that option right now. The 5.11 is a durable pack. Meaning it's not lightweight. Not heavy either. Just not lightweight.

Ordered 2 packs... Decided to go with the 12 hour in grey and 3 day in foliage. There's 15% off code today so I ordered. If I don't like them, I'll just send them back. And if I don't use them now, I'll use them eventually.

That thing looks sweet for the price, I think I’m going to adopt one and let it live in my trunk!

You know what I just realized? That LAPG 12 hour bag is an almost exact knock off of the 5.11 RUSH 12! The same bag I carry and recommend above. But at about a half to a third of the price. Just made out of lighter weight materials. Which isn't bad. Cause the RUSH bags are WAY over built IMHO. This thing will never wear out. But for $139 (give or take) it better huh? lol.

That makes this LAPG 12 hour bag even more appealing. Because the design of the RUSH 12 is so well thought out. I've never carried a better personal backpack. And down to the sunglass zippered pocket on the top. It's exactly like the RUSH 12.

EDIT - Oh shit. There's a 2.0 on the LAPG packs for only $29! These packs might be complete replicas. They've moved up to real molle.

https://www.lapolicegear.com/diplomat-3 ... pack1.html

EDIT2 - This just keeps getting better. Check out the integral chest rig sold separately that zips into the front of the pack! 1:15 mark. But it's worth watching the whole 2 minute video. It shows the entire pack.

I got the "3 Day backpack 2.0" in foliage and the "Atlas 12 hour" in grey.

I must say, the Atlas series with the laser cut molle is not as tacticol looking as it is in the pictures... Which is a good thing.

There are other reviews of LAPG bags on this site. For example, viewtopic.php?t=86184 .

There's a new version. But I'll read the old one. It's called 2.0. A HUGE improvement. Depending on how you like your bags. Earlier model was lighter I think. They sell both. The link on the old thread leads to the new pack. But if you dig around on their site you'll see the lighter weight version.

EDIT - I HATE PHOTOBUCKET! Really ruined that thread. And all of mine.
