Might be one of those things that I have to see at a store to get a good gauge on the pockets - input is appreciated though.

That key fob backpack looks completely awesome... but at $35 (just the first price I found, no idea if thats much higher/lower than normal) I'll have to wait until I can afford to spoil myself.

I think I'd pass on that.. seems a bit silly to me.. most of that stuff would have fit in other pockets

The Classic vests are heavier than tropical ones https://bestoutdooritems.com/best-travel-vests/ You will be uncomfortable in the hot summer in a classic vest. Although the Light Vest is the coolest of the vests, some people have commented that they can't actually wear it anywhere in the tropical, because in a tropical climate it's still a little hot.
