I did buy this stuff, but about a year ago, right before we moved into our new place. I was going through some of my "random" stuff in here boxes that we were finally pulling out of the shed behind the house, and lo and behold several Mora Knives that I bought on clearance for like $5 each, an old Boy Scout Hatchet I had paid a $1 for at a garage sale, and and a still new in the box one piece Scope Mount for an AR-15 that I paid $5 for at one of those $5 or less stores. And I don't currently even own an AR-15. I did pick up 300 rounds of CCI .22 shorts for my Ruger Wrangler a few days ago. That gun is extremely quiet with shorts in it...

I've actually been pretty productive in this area considering this is the year of the plague.

2002 Toyota Sequoia 4x4

Vehicle kit:
First aid kit
Jumper cables
12v air compressor
Offroad recovery kit

Maxpedition Gyrfalcon pack
hand crank/solar/usb radio
Snugpak jungle bag
Work sharp guided field sharpener (highly recommend!)
several Esee 3 and 4 knives to put in bags and vehicles
two Yaesu vx-7r radios to keep in vehicles
usb charging cables for Yaesu radios

not exactly bug out but I have also reinforced my long term food storage with what I consider luxury items. freeze dried fruits and vegetables, powdered peanut butter, dried eggs, cheese powder, etc...

More, larger ferro rods and updated the first aid kit, including swapping out expired items.

Ha, I just did the same. I've spent a few weeks working on my primitive fire skills and decided a bigger ferro rod would be handy. I also snagged an extra Leatherman for my sweetie's kit.

It may not sound like much, but I bought a hand air pump for filling tires. Yes, I have two commercial air compressors. Yes, I have two 12v air compressors (one for each vehicle except I can't find the one for the Jeep at the moment). But when the power is out, your vehicles are not available, and you need to fill the tires on your bug-out cart or bug-out bike, a hand pump is a good thing to have. And it was an Amazon lightning deal for under $9
