Um why is the rope they are all pulling on going outside the well? If that is the case where is the taut rope going into the well that Ninja Boy is hanging from? I just can't get my head around the thing.

Edit to add I finally noted a time other talking that Ricks wife is doing something! She is actually trying to help save Glenn! OMFG!
Wrong again. I'm pretty sure she's just looking on. How's it going down there?

You know, everyone else is gasping for breath or hollering... Lori looks to be saying something to T-Dog... Leee.... Wait... Let... Um... Let go?

Lori helps in her own way...

Also, looking at the picture, T-Dog is dragging his feet, Maggie is trying to choke Dale or give him some kinda neck massage, while Andrea is trying to give him the same hand signals she gave Shane a few episodes earlier..... OMG, Andrea has the sign language version of tourettes!

The most irritating part of it all is behind them.... Who the hell would put those small wheels on a yard cart??? You gotta have tall wheels on a yard cart, or else you'll have hell getting over every root and rock that gets in your way....

>..... Sorry, withdrawals are always really bad for the first month i've heard...

Nah man that is a Barn Cart. They have smaller wheels. Less roots and stuff to go over. Also I think it is Shane draggin' his feet in that pic.

To me, the best part of the show is the interaction with other members of the living who they cross paths with now and again. Since there is so little proof to substantiate re-animation, one would assume that a virus would cause the dead to go out with a whimper rather than a bang. Just using simple math, one would also conclude that the amount of resources available would then be enormous, but the show tries to make you think otherwise. Everything has already been taken.

Unlike Cormac McCarthy's Pulitzer Prize winning tome, where everything dies, TWD displays a world where most of nature is very much alive. The greatest danger then is the same thing that it is now. Man. Like Jurassic Park, the creatures allow one to be distracted rather than focus on solving real problems.

What seems so counterintuitive is the starting over. They have now passed through their farming phase, where he who controls agriculture is in charge. Soon, they will move to the industrial age and finally, the age of information. In the last episode, they will all sit on computers and just type what they are doing, as if it were real.
I wouldn't say that they've passed through their farming phase; rather, they've degenerated back into their hunter-gatherer groups.

The 'age' of Industry implies one of two things: machines to make work more efficient and people to operate them, or mass production of material and people to produce it. The world of TWD is seriously lacking in both respects.

The 'age' of Information, likewise, implies one of two things: the ability to transfer information over space to other people, or the ability to archive/interpret information in an expedient, comprehensive, and/or advanced fashion. The world of TWD again fails to meet this definition.

If anything, losing the farm and being forced to migrate, nomadically, to the prison represents the final break from civilized life, IMO. They've lost their oasis in a desert of death, and now they're forced to delude themselves into believing that a prison is the safest place to be.

Ironically, a prison is the last place that a person seeking 'security' would go in civilized life; a prison is where all of the dysfunctional, violent, and otherwise socially volatile people would be put into, to ensure the safety of the citizens outside. Now, it's almost as if the survivors are the 'savages', the people who would pay no more attention to wasting a 'walker' on the street as they would repairing a fence.

"We're among them-and when we finally give up, we BECOME them! We're living on borrowed time, every minute of our life is a minute we steal from them!

You see them out there...You think we hide behind walls to protect us...!

Don't you get it?

We ARE the walking dead!"

Haha, I'm cracking up, especially about the wheels on the cart. Just seeing Dales face makes me sad :( he was one of my favorites. And I wanted Shane to be one of my favorites but he ended up being too bat shit crazy. Now I'm left with Daryl, which is absolutely fine with me. He sure can work a crossbow.

Is Daryl everyone's favorite? I literally don't know anyone that watches it. Or it could just be that I don't have any friends. :D I loved Dale too, but you know what happened there. I was at gamestop the other day and saw the action figures and they only had 3 walkers. Apparently everything else sold out pretty quick. I would actually be all over getting an rv set. That would rock! So they haven't come out with one?

Is it bad that I want a bunch of the walker figures so I can put them around my house and shoot them with my airsoft pistol?

RE: Dale's rv action set

Would be cool to set it up and have all the walkers around it on a shelf. Make it look like a scene out of the show. 8-)

Still Haven't seen the most recent episode!!! I'm deprived of regular TV for about 6 months. I'm not necessarily a fan of piracy, but I think I might skirt that to get the last episode, anyone know where I can get a good copy? (piratebay and similar sites are not an option right now) I've avoided spoilers pretty well so far...

Amazon, my friend. Bite the bullet and buy it for $1.99 ($2.99 for HD) and stream it to your computer. I don't get AMC so that's what I've done with every episode this season since the "Nebraska" episode.

Yeah but then you have to have a Lori figure that constantly yells at Rick when Carl goes missing.

In one pic, Carl's walking the edge of a pot of boiling water. In a side-by-side pic, Lori's visibly mad, Rick has a beaten-down, apologetic look.

That's good, but there should be a couple scenes where he's seen in the background looking pissed and generally brooding.
