KL24 Zombie

This zombiedy offering from Malaysia (filmed in and about Malaysia) ranges from odd moments of tension relieved by hilarity. Some of the jokes will require at least a passing knowledge of Eastern culture but the movie overall is enjoyable. There is very little gore and special effect in the film. The movie falls midway between horror and comedy and never takes itself seriously. It is low budget but the actors all are competent and the writing is not cringe inducing. Give it a watch if you are in to that kind of thing. I found it pretty funny, especially the vignette on how a household with plural wives addresses the zombie problem, a first I can recall in the genre.
These days of dust
Which we've known
Will blow away with this new Son

But I'll kneel down wait for now
And I'll kneel down
Know my ground

I hadn't seen your review but I should have know you'd have seen this off beat little gem.
Priests and cannibals, prehistoric animals
Everybody happy as the dead come home

Big black nemesis, parthenogenesis
No-one move a muscle as the dead come home
