Sorry these are so short, I'm getting back into the feel of the characters and writing between other things. I still don't think I quite have the flow of Jesse back, but I'm working my way through the other stories to try and find his voice again.

It looks good to me Doc, as Jesse "aged" through the stories you could see how he was changing and growing as an individual, from short order cook and ex-con to a leader of men. Keep at it and I'm sure you'll find Jesse in there somewhere.

Nice!

Another great, if short, entry... I really enjoy how you paint the mental picture with your word choice. Great character development woven throughout too.

Speaking of words... “...shifted in his seat...” vs. sifted and “...past the feed lips...” vs. passed. Those are the only two typos I saw. Still better than half the emails I send out at work!
Molon Latte...come & take our coffee order

zengunfighter wrote:... you don't want to blow a tranny in the middle of a pursuit...

Yeah man, I don't proof read much. LOL

Sorry I've been away, my hours shifted around again at work (responsibility, or something, who would have thought it?), hopefully I'll have something this weekend.

Hahaha, I have it started, I just haven't had time to work on it.

My job changed, so the hours went from 10 hr days to 12 hr days, with the days off being 6 instead of 3. But along with all my other supervisor duties, I'm involved in the training and classes for In-Service and firearms, so I'm working eight or ten days and my days off are two or three. So, it's been an adjustment. I sleep weird hours and in the middle try to work out, yoga, run, and play guitar... you know, live life.

I hope to have something put up tonight.

Not yet. I've been in other story worlds....

I know where I want to go, it's going there.

Something made me think of Chelsea the other day, decided to pop back in to the ole ZS. Imagine my surprise to see that Doc decided to write some more.
