Thanks!
We work hard on them. They're not fancy but good.
I've been researching gluten-free recipes, as quite a few of the old folks have trouble with gluten lately.
I want them NOT to taste 'gluten-free'.

Bumping up for the MOARzombies (and to let newbies find it).

Peanut Butter with salted caramel, Funfetti sugar cookies, and Magic Bars. Turned out they were all gluten-free, but we didn't plan that.

Nope, and her blogs stopped being updated sep 2015 as well.

Last I read somewhere, I think she was diagnosed with diabetes, but it's been a while and I cant remember.

Thanks, y'all.

I was thinking of this series just yesterday. I stopped on like page 270, and had forgotten the name. Haven't read it in over 6 years.

bump. Started a reread, this time while listening to a Deftones station on Pandora. Fits the story subject perfectly

Anybody know the other book she wrote before this one about a teenage girl that rides a bike to her parent's house in Fla?

I miss her updates, and I hope Kathy is doing alright.
I wish MJOTZY had closure form her, but I can't blame her for not coming back here based on the PTB treatment of her. She did a fantastic job, and was wonderfully creative. I still wish she would pursue this as a written series with an agent ...talk about a great book or TV series.

It's a shame that TPTB drove her off.

I thought she had a personal/family emergency or some such.

What happened?

She came back last year and posted an update and explaned the situation but that's probably been 10 pages back or more. I've yet to read through this. I always start then get distracted and forget then come back and do it all over. I've probably read the first 10 pages of this thread 20 times.

Kathy hasn't been on here since May of '16. Pity too.

About three weeks ago I went to her blog and starting at the top, read every single story, finished or not.

Man, that girl can write.

Maybe we'll get lucky and she'll return to it someday.

Just a quick note. I've had a family emergency and right now I'm playing caretaker. My SIL is already very ill with kidney failure. My brother is pretty sick right now with something close enough to pneumonia as makes no difference. Well Friday my SIL is having a serious emergency surgery - related to her potential to qualify for a transplant which she is already matched for. My brother won't be able to take care of her so she is coming here for a few days at least and I've been prepping for that. This is going take up my time for some period of time. I'll post to my blog as I can but I need to take care of my family. Thanks for understanding and positive thoughts and prayers from those so incline.

Here is her last post in this thread
