I have a confession... I printed the whole thing out and bound it with binder clips so I could read it when I'm not at the computer. I can't wait to start on the next.

I've read this 3 times in the last 2 days and I must say this story is absolutely brilliant

It has taken me a couple of days to get through the storry, with reading in my brief spare time.

I was so into the story, I couldn't wait to get back to reading. This was GREAT!!!

awesome story... i think this would make a great movie. It has just enough action and down times for a great movie...

If you caught a break and some one wanted to amke this a movie which actors would you want for the characters?

I think Jessica Biel would be perfect for the part of Hannah, Chelsea could be played by Dakotah Fanning (when she was younger of course), unsure bout the rest of the characters.. What do you think?

I've never really thought about who would play what part.

I don't think that there's an actress that I can name to play Hannah, Jessica Beil would work, but blonde, I've always pictured Hannah as a blonde. I have a pic of an ad that has a woman in it working out, and that's the image i used for Hannah.

Chelsea, I just look up Dakotah, she's Chelsea to a T.

Jesse is a young version of Sam Elliot, and right now I don't think that there is an actor out there who can take Sam's place. I hate to say it, but I think Leonardo C might fit the bill in a few years with his ability to portray a character. He could step into the role easily as he gets older.

Some have mentioned Owen Wilson as Owen, I like Matthew McConaughey in his more scruffy moments, when he's not all done up for the camera. Both have the right attitude.

Sorry I missed thispost back when!

Sam Elliot is a great actor. I liked his roles in The Sackett movies. This is one of my favorite characters he has played.

I would agree with you on matthew as just don't think owen wilson could be badass enough for that role..

its funny how we all get different ideas for certain charcters cause i totally pictured a brunette for some reason with hannah..probally cuz im partial to them but anyways

i also pictured jesse more of an older biker guy and i just can't think of an actor that would play that role.

thanks for the reply.. i hope to get to owen's story soon just started nursing school and am a bit overwhelmed

Doc 66

As a termite, I usually stay in the wood work and devoure your work (and other's work).

Just watnted to say that I thank you greatly for posting your work so that old men like me can enjoy new and refreshing material.

I wish you the best in all you do.

Keep writing, some very well known writers of the past have spent 10 or more years before publishers take notice and then the wirter sky rocket to the top with money to make their life misserable.

a couple of suggestions if I may.

1. is it possible to purchase a cd or DVD of all your stories in Text format or pdf. I have to convert them to text to get them to display on my treo 650 cell phone so I can read them during my free time as I drive a milk tanker.

If so, please let me know how much and where do I send the money.

2. This is just an idea you might think about in the future.

The tidal wave that hit japan a few months back created a huge huge island (floating) of debrief that is currently floating and heading toward Hawaii and the coast of calif.

It has been reported that the mass is so huge that wooden building and even cars are imbeded in the island of wreckage.

It will take about 1 and 1/2 year for the island to cross the ocean.

I thought it held the makings of a survival story of any people who may be on the mass.

Just an idea for you to consider.

An address will get you two DVD's containing over 200,000 of text formated stories that I have been collecting over the late 30 or so years off the (BBS's and or internet.).

Thanks again

Wayne

Excellent story and great writing. Thank you for sharing! You have got some serious talent and getting the feel of the character and the feel of the scene they are in.

It sounds good, but I see many problems with it... fresh water, actual food, breaking up in a tropical storm... many things that could be addressed in a story line.

The only other I thought of for Jesse is the father from SOA he would fit it well if a little too old.
