It'll be interesting if you take this toward a "5th Element" type semi-dystopian future or a full on wild ride picture of the future like "Mena" on this board and stories like The Hunger Games, etc...

Cool premise and great start!

I don't get the reference but the trench is very similar (on a much smaller scale!) to what the Canadians did out West of Kandahar in the early days of OEF...

Though not as intensely patrolled these days, that bad boy is still there and remains an effective barrier to several Taliban/Al-Qaeda "rat lines" running up from S. Pakistan.

Awesome update. I like the whole man and dog against the world angle thing. Reminds me of Mad Max =)
Overheard at my USN retirement ceremony....
"So he's not a team player then?"
"You mean Spazz...? Hes not even a fan of the team."

A boy and his dog!

Cool development... I like where this is going.

Maybe a 2-man...err...2-person... Nope. 2-party(?) A-Team? Cruising the USA, on a bike instead of a van righting wrongs and all that...

Either you or someone should continue this story T/A I like the flow so far. The name Fluffy for a killing machine is pretty darn funny.

It has been brought to my attention that some language in this post set may have exceeded the PG-13 nature of the board.

I've gone back and edited the offense words. I offer both my sincere apology and the assurance that I'll use more care in what I post in the future.

Not sure what the language was, but I've seen language on this site that made me cringe and that takes a lot.Really it does.

People who are rather more than six feet tall and nearly as broad across the shoulders often have uneventful journeys. People jump out at them from behind rocks then say things like, "Oh. Sorry. I thought you were someone else."
