Excellent update TB. Too bad that the unwillingness to put down the son cost them the daughter. Tough decisions but facing reality would have helped. Thanks again TB

Another wonderful TB addition. Beautiful description of the infection riddled corpse wandering the house. Thank you TB!

Thanks TB! That was one hell of a chapter! Didn't they have a couple horses? I would imagine that Lucas would love a horse, and given the predicament that the family is in they wouldn't care.

I almost feel bag for begging for more so soon! Almost...... Moar please!!!!!

WoW.
I cannot comprehend how you do it.
Another batch of awesome updates/chapters.

Just when we/I think you've stopped the story- BOOM!

Thank you very much TB.

Excellent. Whatever you're doing, keep doing it.

-also, MOAR please.

I basically had the same thought the moment Lucas turned around to see True atop a horse- and there was no mention of a second in tow...

But I imagine that as long as we're in the emotional trance of throwing away antibiotics on a dead girl, we're probably also not taking her horse and letting her know that she's about to die anyways...

Yeah, I figured that since Connie didn't have long, her dad wouldn't want to subject her to the emotional turmoil of seeing her favorite horse, Stormy, given away. But since Stormy really didn't like Lucas, it might have been kind of comedic to have sent him along.

I can't thank everyone enough for sticking with the story, especially given the slow pace of updates.

^^this! I love this forum but one of the reasons I keep coming back are to get updates from this story! Although slower than previous updates, it's worth every minute! This story drags you in! I'll be her till the end!

Excellent update, TB. Moarphine rushing through my bloodstream. What a curveball thrown at Lucas - saddled with an emotionally unstable girl ill equipped for the PAW out to replace Lux in his affections. Oh dear. I sense conflict and moral dilemmas. Perhaps some comedic moments as well.

Normalcy bias is going to be a killer in the PAW. So is a willful refusal to face reality and make hard choices. The father should've done what needed to be done when it was apparent there was no other option.

Time for an update TB... please? Don't make me start posting kittens.

..it's true, I can hear the dragging of diseased and destroyed limbs, scraping across the asphalt (or clay or dirt or concrete  ) road leading up to TB's writing lair. I can only hope he has his CCTV surveillance system turned up to its highest gain so that he can monitor the encroaching herd and write faster to stave off a total disaster......

....besides, we just ache for an update... :clownshoes:

hope you're seeing these, TB, M O A R, please, when ya can...

otherwise, wishing the best & hoping there's no more sinister things going on in your life, keeping you from extending this story!!
