I'd call mine the Glock 18 but that's already taken  I'd love to get a "K" engraved next to the 17 on my slide someday, just for the awesomeness.

Yeah, most guys call what we've done a "23L" or "19L" respectively, but I like being special- I mean, "different." :P

In all seriousness, though, I think it's a great mod. In my experience the slide length isn't the limiting factor for CCW, it's the grip length. So this is really the best of both worlds.

I *really* wish Peirce would do a nice +2 extension for the G29... For one thing, the G29 grip is just a little too short for my paw. (The 10 round extended factory mag for the G30SF fits my hand *perfectly.*) For another, 10+1 of 10mm just doesn't compare that favorably (for SD) relative to 13+1 of .40 (in a glock 23) or 15+1 or 9mm (in a glock 19), with the latter two choices being similar in size to the G29. But a good quality, properly shaped +2 extension on my G29SF would make it fit my hand, and give 12+1 of 10mm, with 15 in each mag change... I'd be pretty darn happy with that for CCW.

Hmm, a lot of Glock users here I see. I've fired plenty of them and owned a G27 for a few years for CC, but ended up selling it. I gotta give a shout out to S&W M&P series, it just feels better in my hand and points more naturally to me. M&P40c all the way.

Hmmm...it's smaller than a 17. Should be a Glock 16 then, no?

K is for "Kurz" ("short" in german), as you may have guessed. C for "Compact" was already taken by "Compensated". And Glock 17/19 doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

I'm doubting you've ever fired a gun with an AFG. You act as if it's any better than a standard hand guard. When it's that close to the receiver it's absolutely worthless.
I'm not saying it would be effective, just curious if it would be legal without a stamp. Chillax brah.
