Field Guide to Plants

Post by goalmaster00 » Mon Sep 17, 2012 8:56 pm

Does anyone know a good field guide for North American plants? Cause if SHTF and you can't eat meat what else do you turn to, plants! So if you know a good guide book that outlines what is edible and not, please post.

Mushrooms

Tells you which ones you can eat and which ones are poisonous.

If you can't afford it, make it.
Why buy food, when you can grow it, or hunt it?
Best way to keep meat fresh, don't kill it yet.
Guns are nice, but I like my Cold Steel Assegai Spear.

I have the mushroom field guide. If you're not sure, don't eat. The field guide tells you gill structure, spore color, and has good photos. It shows the poisonous ones that look like the edible ones so you can differentiate.
