i need to check out the rod and reel, i didn't know they had a range. it's a pain for me to find shooting buddies, the guys i used to go with is going through a divorce, so he never goes anymore. it sucks, cuz i just bought a sig 226 and a single action 357. i need practice on the sig, for some reason i shoot revolvers much better

I just posted the review to Amazon.

Yeah Rod and Reel really isn't all that bad of a place to shoot it and it's not all that pricey either. You just have to deal with the morons that some times show up to shoot. I normally only go there when I need to zero some thing at a set range.

For sure I'll hit you up when I get back in town. I plan to pick up a few more guns after this tour is done so I'll be needing range time my self. :D

I'm officially moving back to the El Paso area! Is there an El Paso/Las Cruces chapter? Either way when I move back at theend of march we'll have to set up a range day.

On topic how is Regulators coming along?

hell yeah, i have new guns and nobody ever wants to go with me.
The Regulators is coming along very well. i'm on page 50 or something. i always write a book from start to finish. i don't like writing different chapters out and adding them all together later.....so that means that the first 50 pages are finished, not edited, but finished. at this point, i'm planning on a release in early June. if your on facebook, just check out el paso under attack. i always give updates on how the sequel is going and how EPUA is selling.

let me know when you get back for the shooting!

Hey,

I put up the first review in the iTunes bookstore (or iBook store whatever). Good fun read,

The best I can do is this...

http://www.apple.com/itunes/whats-on/

You have to have iTunes to actually see the listing for the book. It's coming from Smashwords, or at least they are listed as the seller with a 11/14/2011 publish date.

thanks again chirpy...if you get a chance, do me a huge favor and post the review over on amazon. i'm signed with them exclusively now.

@razor....i think i'm moving pretty quickly on it, but my main goal is to make the sequel better than the original!

Just started a thread looking for members in the El Paso area. Maybe we can get an Alamogordo/El Paso/Las Cruces chapter started.

So any chance of some more local land marks making it into the sequel? Maybe a trip to Chico's for the General and the gang? That would really make my day.

lol... chico's would be awesome....but they are still going to be stuck on the west side. i've even been using google maps for accuracy. think of a landmark on the west and i'll see what i can do.

Hmmm landmarks on the West Side is hard...like I always said growing up the East Side always gets the cool stuff. You could do something at the race track or Western Playland. There really isn't that much on the West Side.
