All of the ebooks in this thread are free *at the time of posting*.
So if you see a free ebook that you want, don't delay! Sometimes a book is free for only a few hours, sometimes it is free for a few days.
To get a free ebook:
1- check that the "Kindle price" is still $0.00
2- click the "buy now with 1-click" button.
(Please note: there is a button called "read for free" Do Not click that button! That button is for the Kindle Unlimited program which charges a monthly fee.

You don't need an ereader, like Kindle, to enjoy these ebooks.
Many computers & devices are able to read them too.
And if you missed it, many of these ebooks will cycle back to free at some point.
Feel free to post any free ebooks that you know of!

(Post 1 of this thread is updated with ZSers suggestions on places that you can get more free ebooks, PDFs, & learning.)

Has anyone offered say a thumbdrives worth of free books from a file sharing site or something? I'd literally pay someone for their research and time to have a thumbdrives worth of relevant information like this. Like say put on a thumbdrive even if downloading is to much of a hassle. I assume one big download of 8 to 16 gb's would probably take forever right?

So ya. I'd pay for 8 to 16gb's of this information. Literally. It takes forever to research and download this stuff individually.

Like...not a lot. But certainly a nominal fee. lol! ;)
I realize this is quite a dated post.

However, if you will contact me, I will reply with information regarding quite a number of eBook resources, for free. I am unable to send you a PM, or contact you by any other means.

Free and sort of pre-prepping related

Please don't discuss it here, especially as it could turn political but this could be a useful book for some activities we might engage in within our local communities

Tools for Grassroots Activists (ePub Version)

For over twenty years, Patagonia has hosted a Tools Conference, where experts provide practical training to help activists be more effective in their fight. Now Patagonia has captured Tools’ best wisdom and advice in a book, creating a resource for any organization hoping to hone core skills like campaign and communication strategy, grassroots organizing, and lobbying as well as working with business, fundraising in uncertain times, and using new technologies. Each chapter, written by a respected expert in the field, covers essential principles as well as best practices and is accompanied by a hands-on case study that demonstrates the principles in action. Sprinkled throughout are inspirational thoughts from acclaimed activists, such as Jane Goodall, Bill McKibben, Wade Davis, Annie Leonard, and Terry Tempest Williams.
