Research on emergency preparedness

Post by 88sport » Sat Feb 02, 2013 8:13 pm

I'm doing a correlational study on preppers vs. hoarders and am having a tough time finding any kind of literature from journal articles for preppers or preparedness or anything along those lines. does anyone have any ideas?

Looks like there's a lot less scholarly research on prepping. (but maybe I'm using the wrong search terms. I also tried "survivalism".)

1. [BOOK] Dancing at Armageddon: Survivalism and chaos in modern times
RG Mitchell Jr - 2001 - books.google.com

Kai Erickson did not know Hank or the Rangers, and I doubt he visited the survivalists before preparing his presidential address, but he spoke directly
to an understanding of survivalism.
