Hope this pic shows. I'm about 40% in on my Mauser project. I've removed the old rear sight and installed the peep, front sight, and limbsaver. Now I've go to trim the front of the barrel back. Debating on adding a forward scope and drilling a blow out in the chamber.

Mix Master Build... my take on a Colt 6731. Barrel is a Colt 1/9 HBAR which was used in 6731 builds. Carry handle is Colt also.

"Flawlessly". Every time I see this word in a thread, I brace myself for bullshit. Around half the time I end up feeling vindicated.

Accuracy International Coopermatch Swissmaster

Calibre: 7.5x55 Swiss (GP11)
Scope: Steiner Military 5-25 x56

Image

Cranking it up to 1000m with handloads next month.

and standard swiss issue GP11 is match grade and 50 cents a pop :)
It doesnt do so well at 1000m tho, hence the hand loads.

Your boy's not an artist, he's a KILLER! Throw him in the back of your rented VW, drape him in 50 yard of multicam fabric, stick a rifle in his hands, and put him on Jeriah's team. They can talk art in between tactical reloads. - Dannus Maximus

Favorite Zombie Movies: so far zombieland because i think it accuratly depicts what a zombie could be like. not a dead becoming undead, but an infected human... kinda like a dog with raibies. even tho signs of other survivors were non existant in the movie except for the 4 main characters and bill murray...

Are they high-cap? No. Are they war tested and fighter approved? In service 1907-Present. Does one of them mount a 17 inch bayonet? Ask the Germans, Italians, Japanese, and Ottomans.

Got to pick this up on Friday with some extras. VEPR 7.62x39 with a host of rails and tacticoolness. I am toying with whether I am going to keep the railed fore end, or if I am going to go with a plum Zhukov-S handguard.
