Just wanted to share, won this upper in Stickman's Weapon Evolution giveaway.
Didn't even know what was coming in the mail and was flabbergasted to see an entire upper when I opened the box.

16" midlength, 13" Alpha rail. I am really liking the way the rail feels. The machining makes it quite "grippy".

The first official photo of my Spanish Arms collection... Surely many more pieces to follow

Background flag is the "Basque Flag", a very interesting (to me, at least) region and people! : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basque_Cou ... _region%29

Rear rifle is my FR-8 and in the foreground is my CETME on it's bi-pod.

I've posted a few pictures of this rifle recently, but it's only because it's now my favorite rifle. I know, crazy: a bolt action .30-06 is preferred over my AK, my AR, and all the rest. Crazy!

It's a Zastava LK M70, .30-06 Springfield. I call mine "Edelweiss." They were imported under the Remington banner for a few years as the Remington 798, but did not sell particularly well because of a lack of intelligent marketing.

Image
Edelweiss is between a few SLMPD Rangers' AR-15 carbines, before the final refinishing job was completed. The rifle was being sighted-in at 100 yards (preliminary) and tested for preference of ammunition.

The rifle today, after some light sanding and a single coat of Tom's 1/3 mix was applied. I intend to apply another two or three coats, further protecting and improving the appearance of the stock while avoiding a highly-polished appearance.
...As the great warrior poet O'Shea "Ice Cube" Jackson, Sr. once said, "If the day does not require an AK, it is good."

I_Hate............ that is nice Rasheed that you have. They are rare out here and tend to be very expensive compared to the Hakim.

Nice rifles all,

Sorta, kinda, not really......I'm right handed, but left eye dominant. So I've always shot lefty, ever since I was a wee lad.

Serene, I really like that pump with the laminated stock. That thing would be slick with a vent rib shorty barrel and a set of chokes. I need to get off my behind and get my shotty project going.
