Most Outlandish AR Lowers

Post by Halfapint » Sat Mar 05, 2016 7:50 pm

It's been a slow day on the forums. On my lunch break I was looking at AR lowers, mostly just some thing a little different than the standard for my new build. I came across some crazy custom milled lowers in the shapes of skulls, a cross, some other stuff.

So post some links or pictures of the best ones you've seen. Either custom milled, vinyl wrapped, hand engraved, stippled, etc. Could be cool to see how things have evolved over time.

I'll start

I'll play!

Continuing your Sharps Brothers theme, I alaways thoight this would be a cool foundation for a friend who used to fly A-10s:

Loves me some warthogs...especially when they were escorting us on air drop runs! The fast movers were way too fast to effectively cover us low and slow targets!

For a different twist, I think the new F1 set is pretty wild. Not really practical as a tool, but it'd be pretty cool to see one in action with slow motion video of the BCG cycling:

Slow day, more like slow couple of years. Bad ass lowers though. I'll drink to that on a Sunday morning.

ETA, Hey halfapint, what do you use a halfapint for?

To wash down a double shot!

Sharps brothers seem to have the most interesting.
If you expand your thoughts to include engraving--http://www.yorkarms.com/receiver.html--only limited by your artistic ability
and I have a custom build planned out for the Mrs.---using parts from these guys https://unique-ars.com/gallery/1/?envir ... wrap-11792
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.
