Has anyone bought an ATI talon stock for a 870. ATI used to have a bad rep but this one looks pretty stout let me know if you've got one or shot a 870 that had one. Give me some input and let me know what you think.

I personally went the more expensive route when tacticooling my 870. AR stock adapter, buffer tube, magpul furniture.

I cheaped out, and bought the only castle nut and end plate I could find locally, which were ATI. The castle nut wasn't cut to accept staking, and the end plate needed to be opened with a file to fit on the receiver extension.

With that said, the talon looks like a quick and cheap solution to tacticooling a shotgun. Low tube allows you to still use bead sight, and you don't break the bank on a firearm that is still a limited use tool.

Also, before purchasing anything for the shotgun, read this.
