I as well want one of those walthers, however I hope they make mags more affordable this time around. I have looked at the P99 many times, but refused to drop $50 a pop on hi-capacity magazines.

The sight is garbage and it is presumed that the user will replace it. I kind of hate that they don't put the diopter sight on it from the factory.

With better ergonomics and versatility. If they are under 1k, I might want. But they won't be.

Hey guys, glad to see this post has degenerated into a AK vs everything screed.

Anyways, I'm now on the ground in vegas.

We'll be wondering around tomorrow.

Anyone wanna grab some lunch or dinner in the next few days? Gimme a call, 760 799 1493. Should be Nacho and myself wondering around. We should be hooking up with Blast tomorrow at some point.

The .22 TCM looks interesting. I wonder how it matches up to the 5.7x28? What is it's velocity out of a rifle? It could be cool in a light carbine. New cartridges are exciting to me, I don't know why.

This year seems to have more practical stuff than last year. Last year was meh, but this year looks promising so far.

That's disappointing considering it is a SIG and the buyer pays a premium for the rifle. Shit, S&W ships with decent flip up sights, at least SIG could.

In case you missed it... it was a lame ass 25year logo on the grips of a Glock 17. At least that was all I saw on another board.

I am seriously waiting on a MSRP for that Taurus Carbine... man I hope it is a good price and someone out there makes bulletbutton for it fast. That thing is sexy. If they price it like a Sig, I might just have to get the Sub2000 I was looking at.

What?!? Don't look at me like that!!! Pistol Carbines are cool! Piss off, eh!

I just read that it weighs about 11-12lbs!? Can that be right? http://gunsforsale.com/ghg/2011/01/18/t ... #more-6961" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Holy chowdah! 12 pounds is a bit much for a pistol carbine. I wonder if that is fully loaded with 10+1 of .45? The Sub2000 only weighs 4lbs empty.

The more I read the more I begin to think this is a crappy idea. At least the Sub2000 uses common and cheap mags. The ones for the Taurus will be model specific and clones prolly wont be out for a bit. This plus the thumbhole stock makes having one in CA impossible. Oh wells, it does look cool tho.

I'm not sure where they got the specs of the carbine, but hopefully they are wrong. This in .45 would be nice for hogs... if it were lighter.

Its a $1500 gas piston rifle using AK mags in 7.62x39 with a retractable buttstock and a grip mounted safety.

I already have one of those, its called a Krebs KTR-03 and I paid less for it than this sig. *Yawn*

If they want to innovate, give me a Sig 542, now that is something I can get behind.

Hardly. It is likely to be just as accurate as any other well made AK-100 in 7.62x39. The only thing that really sets the sig apart is if it uses a cold hammer-forged gas-nitrided barrel that with a better 2 stage trigger gives it the potential to be more accurate.

I should be going there for a little bit towards the end of the show today. I have some errands to run. If not today, I will be there for a little bit tomorrow and MAYBE Friday but I work til 6am Friday so I'm not so sure how much I will want to walk around.

At least they put a better stock on the thing . The furniture and stocks on the other 556 series guns are garbage. This at least looks like a 550 series folder

Geared to the bump-firing crowd, no doubt. ;)
