I ordered a Magpul rail light mount and a 0.83" medium profile riser mount for my AR from Amazon last Wednesday and received them this afternoon.

Now they're on my AR and I'm two steps closer to having my AR set up the way I want it.

Stopped in at the gun shop this morning, saw that they had filled up the used mag box. Ended up buying 10 well used 17 round 9mm M&P mags for $90. The finish on the mags is definitely worn and a couple base plates are cracked or dinged up, but they all seemed to be in working condition. I have a pile of base plates, mag springs, and followers at home so I will be able to rebuild anything that it is not up to spec.

Bought a Yost "Multi-angle" vise. All I've used it for so far was re-installing a muzzle break using my BEV block, but it worked really well for that.

Not sure when I'll really get to put some stress on it to see if the cam lock arm will hold up to that, but being able to flip the vise on it's side and work on the barrel upright was surprisingly handy.

Certainly beats the crappy little Irwin clamp-on I have to sharpen lawnmower blades. Not sure what use I'll have for that now, but I'm not sure one can have too many tools.

Remlin lever action 30-30 from a guy down the street, not a gun guy - he bought it new last year and it's been in the box ever since.
Now he needs parts for his truck - so thank you ford motor company for my new 100 dollar rifle. Please keep breaking.

Okay... <shrugs>

Moving on, picked up a really cheap (I expect it to probably be crap but I've been surprised before) 25 round shotgun shell belt on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000 ... UTF8&psc=1

If it's of any decent quality it'll hold spare rounds on a hook in the hall closet for sudden SHTF stuff. If it's crap, it goes back to Amazon. Either way, I'm only risking $6.00

Ah... Had to hit the highbeams switch a few times before I became bright enough to understand that. I think Ford made the switch.
