1x 50 round box of Federal 115 grain 9mm FMJ ammo.

At least your rare "collector gun" fetish should be sated for a while. That's some nice hardware.madoka wrote:Dan Wesson Discretion 9mm ($2100)

I bought another 50 round box of Federal 115 grain 9mm ammo the other day (been longer than 48 hours, but I figured it still counts).
Brings me up to a little over 630 rounds total for 9mm now.

You would think it would, but I just bought another 38 firearms, with 23 of them being handguns. They ranged from a Ruger American ($450) to a Wilson Combat Supergrade ($4800). I'm now up to 270 handguns.Stercutus wrote: At least your rare "collector gun" fetish should be sated for a while. That's some nice hardware.

Three boxes of Federal Automatch .22 LR. $18.00 per box of 325.

I did a little research, and at 5 cents a round it's the cheapest ammo I've seen in a while. I'm looking for a 100 yard round that doesn't break the bank. The old adage "fast, good, or cheap...pick two," comes to mind.

It does okay as a 100 yard target round, but not so great as a hunting round past about 50 yardsecho83 wrote:Three boxes of Federal Automatch .22 LR. $18.00 per box of 325.

A2 stock, trigger parts, glock raised sights, mags for the LCP, and masking tape.... Masking tape is so I can ID my mags with what they have loaded in them, and the ammo cans with what is inside them. So far it's worked like a dream!

I'm curious as to ID'ing the mags by load. Do you normally keep identical mags filled with different loads? How would you identify them in the dark if you had to?Halfapint wrote:A2 stock, trigger parts, glock raised sights, mags for the LCP, and masking tape.... A box each of Federal .375 H&H (the "cheap" stuff), Nosler .30-06 and Brenneke Black Magic slugs.
Two boxes of rubber buckshot (for bears) and two boxes of CCI .22 WMR (for assholes).

1x Tactical Solutions compensator for my Ruger 22/45. I got one made for a 10/22, but the threads on my 22/45 are the same pitch (1/2x28) so it still fit.
Re: What have you bought in the last 48 hours?(firearms rela
I gave my .22 WMR LCR to my mother, but all I've been able to find for a couple years has been hollow points. Finally found some FMJ which I gave to her.MPMalloy wrote:Why are you taking it easy on the assholes?quazi wrote:A box each of Federal .375 H&H (the "cheap" stuff), Nosler .30-06 and Brenneke Black Magic slugs.

I orginally bought the revolver in .22 WMR because I heard that lightweight, snubnosed .38s were painful to shoot, but then when I actually tried one I discovered it wasn't bad and got myself one. Rather than sell the .22 WMR I passed it on to my mother as a birthday present.

Armscor makes some nice 40gr. JSP .22WMR rounds. They'd probably make good defensive rounds.quazi wrote:I gave my .22 WMR LCR to my mother, but all I've been able to find for a couple years has been hollow points. Edit: just discovered they're HP, but look more like soft points
